How NEET counselling actually works
Clear the category percentile. General/EWS typically 50th; SC, ST, OBC typically 40th.
MCC for 15% All India Quota and deemed universities. Your state portal for the 85% state quota.
Dream colleges first, then realistic targets, then safe options. MCC lists do not carry forward — refill every round.
Round 1, Round 2, mop-up, then stray vacancy. Report with originals or you risk losing the seat.
Documents to keep ready

- •Class 10 marksheet (date of birth)

- •Category / EWS / PwD certificate if applicable
- •Domicile and state eligibility papers
- •Passport photos and valid photo ID
